Manchester Survivors Exchange May 2023

One of the most important missions of Strength to Strength is being there for victims especially on an anniversary. This year Strength to Strength was asked to support those impacted by the Manchester Arena Bombing, that took place on May 22, 2017. Several of our Strength to Strength members have built close relationships with the young people impacted who make up “Bee the Difference”, a partner of Strength to Strength. Board member and Oklahoma City survivor, Dot Hill and Victims Advisory Council Co-Chair and 9/11 survivor, Tom Canavan traveled to Manchester for the weekend of the anniversary this year. The 3-day weekend was filled with peer support and other Strength to Strength members decided joined the weekend when hearing that some would be flying in from the United States. Weekends like this maybe short but the impact they make in supporting those that need, last way beyond the few days. We want to thank those donors that contributed and our Young Executives division who fundraiser during the year to make our Survivors Exchange Programs possible. We could not do this work without your assistance.
